I wasn't blessed with long hair, so,I'd like to get a fake ponytail added to my natural hair. How can I make it look natural? My hair is relaxed and short. Can I have it put in by a stylist or can I do it on my own? Is it fashionable or just plain tacky?

I think the best solution would be for you to go around to your local salon and gather up stray pieces of weave and then sew 'em right in! No but seriously, You can always get a weave or extensions. Go to a professional though! This is imperative, because if you don't you'll run the risk of looking tacky and triflin'. They're expensive. Or you could always let your hair grow?

It is apolutly very tacky if you get the cheap stuff and even with the expencive stuff it looks slightly tacky.
I think you should just try to be happy wiht your self because we arent all born with long hair or long legs ect we are all born differnt for a reason, to be indivguals. And i think people would notice your hair is fake, espesully if you grow a pony tail over night lol

Yuck, I can't stand ponytails. Weave is one thing, those wack ponytails are another. I think they look cheap and I know alot friends who have worn them, and it starts to damage their hair from pulling it back. I went natural. My hair used to be thick and then I was overprocessing my hair it began to look very thin, and I know I don't have thin hair. Those chemicals breakdown the structure of your hair. I would suggest a good stylist to get it fuller again or braids if you can. I bet you have beautiful locks under all those chems, perms, and such.

i dont think it is tacky at all there is this one hair peice from jessica simpson that u can choose your exact hair holor and it clips on to your natural hair i saw it on TV it really looks good and you should try a whole bunch of hair styles with it that way if you wear it a lot of defferent ways no body will know that it is fake. you can look for that hair peice online too. good luck hope this helped!

It's fun and allows us versatility. One day we can have our short hair, then a long ponytail the next. It's just plain fun! The more real-looking, the better, but it doesn't have to look 100% real. So what! Either do half the boobs in America. Just get the best you can afford.

its okay to have fake hair as long as you know how to work it. if u r wear a ponytail u should find a pony tail that matches your hair texture and have a pony tail that matches your hair color. doning it at home will come out pretty good if you take your time with it
going to shop would b good 2 so just do what u feel is right.

it depends on the quality of hair, I would say if you want it you should get real hair extensions so it will blend in and it will be like real hair. A fake ponytail will feel tacky to you and it will not be as good as real hair

Noone is blessed with long hair. You gotta let it grow. I guess you could do some fake to get you through the inbetween length.

My vote: Tacky.

It is fashionable. Its only tacky if u buy d cheap fake looking ones. Get one that suits ur hair, looks real and it wont be tacky. No u should be able to put it in ur self.

Yeah only if it looks fake. Make sure you get the right color to match your natural style and get a stylist to put it in so it will look natural.
