Can Tea Tree Oil Harm your Hair?

no tea tree oil cant harm you, it's natures miracle cure!, but if you are using a tea tree product that contains other ingredients, you might be sensitive to the other stuff in it. how's your diet? hair loss can be treated by upping your intake of b vitamins,omega 3 and 6, and generally making sure you eat a good diet of lean protein, complex carbs, and loads of fruit and veg.

It does the opposite. It actually stimulates hair folicils to grow. Make sure that you are not using a concentrate on your scalp, that may irritate it. There are tons of shampoos and conditioners out there that use it as one of the main ingredients in their products. It is mostly in products for thinning hair.

Tee Tree oil is extremely drying. It should only be used in very small quantities on the skin for blemishes or antiseptic diluted heavily. If you use to much it will give you wrinkles pretty quickly.

As long as it's diluted - ie. put it in your final rinse, its fine. Also for those people with children it's a fantastic repellent to headlice
