I am having trouble installing office enterprise 2007. I run the cd, enter my registration code (which is approved), and then the screen reads: office 2007 is preparing setup. This screen remains for several minutes then it closes and the aforementioned error pops up. I have tried uninstalling office 2003; I had no luck. I am certain the problem is w/ my computer (Dell Inspiron 6000); something w/ my system settings, but I don't know what. Any ideas?

did you install the 2007 beta version previously?
If so, then go here and follow it carefully for complete removal.
