Where is the EGR valve located in 2005 dodge ram 1500?

There were 2 different engines offered for that truck.

4.7 ltr V-8 - EGR is located at the rear, left head (drivers side) just about where the intake touches the head.

5.7 liter V-8 - EGR located at the Front, right head (passenger side)

Should look like a small juice can with a wire plug on the top and a small steel pipe towards the bottem.

what a ****** place to put it on the 4.7 ...why couldnt they keep it the same as the 5.7 ......**** ME..

IT IS ATTACHED TO THE INTAKE MANIFOLD.
