Everyone is free to their own opinion. Asking a question like this on Yahoo Answers is just trying to push people into believing what you believe.

A lot of people believe that it's not a baby until after a certain period. They don't realize that the baby has a heart beat...among other things as well. Or maybe they just don't care. Now a days it's not a big deal. And with all the babies that are left on street corners or in dumpsters, I guess some people think they are better than that by aborting the baby. Kids these days aren't taught responsibility because they have it so easy. If they have sex, they can always just take the morning after pill. And if they get pregnant, they can always just get an abortion. It's that easy!
I believe that abortion is murder all the way. I don't think kids should be given the right to choose between the morning after pill or abortion so easily. They need to know that when they have sex, there are major consequences.

I believe the "lie."
To me, if it isn't viable outside the womb, then no, it isn't a child. I have seen a 21-week fetus born, and an 18-week, and a 23-week, all in the last 3 weeks. You know what? None were alive when they were born, and none even slightly resembled what a baby is supposed to look like. There is absolutely no way that I could ever consider them children.
The fact is, is that it's all just an opinion, and no one is right or wrong.

I guess we just believe that because it makes it easier to make the pro choice decision. My beliefs recently changed when I listened to a religious program about the Virgin Mary. While John the Baptist's mother was pregnant and the Virgin Mary was pregnant, the Bible says when Mary walked into the room, John the Baptist's mother felt the baby move in her stomach. What is so amazing about this is that she had not felt the baby move prior to that and she was afraid there might be something wrong with the baby. It was as if the two babies communicated with each other when Mary walked into the room. (Luke 1:40) That is proof enough that a fetus is a human life.

I want to say that these people who do not believe it is a life are heartless people but they are not. they are just as confused as the rest of us are. God gave us the power of choice. it is our choice to believe what we believe.
once we get a microscope with a sauna gram small enough to see deep into the baby in the begining we will them see the baby's heart is beating. right from the begining but with out proper evidence people do not always believe what they can not see.
this does not make them evil. just makes them unable to believe every thing that they can not see.

I think you meant this as an answer to someone else's question. Surely you couldn't think that stating your own opinion is an appropriate question! A question is not done by asking something for which you already have an answer formed where you strongly believe in your answer as fact....

People believe different things. You obviously have a strong opinion. Fine. It only becomes problematic when you want to force your ideas on my life.

Thats kind of harsh to call peoples beliefs a lie.
People have different perceptions on what a child is and classify it differently.
learn to be tolerant of other peoples views and accept that not everyone will agree with you on everything.

That sounds, if I may say so, a very simplistic opinion on a very complex issue.
I'm neither saying you are right or wrong, but I doubt it can be as easy as you think.
