Yes, there is financial aid geared towards the disabled. The Department/Office of Vocational Rehabilitation in your state offers money for schooling if you qualify. Depending on your income, you could qualify for money from the federal government by filling out the FAFSA form. The public library has a book listing scholarships with some not even listed on the web. The financial aid website often lists private scholarships from outside organizations and companies. Finally, I recommend joining at least one free membership scholarship search website (Scholarshipexperts.com which is recommended by Forbes magazine) or more. Good luck!

Additional note: FAFSA and the Department/Office of Vocational Rehabilitation have no age limit on it for working aged individuals. I know someone who has used both in her 50s and is disabled.

A good place to start is http://www.fastweb.com I just recently returned to school and I'm disabled. You can also search the web to scholarship that are specific to your disablilty. Also, based on your income, you may qualify for federal aid. And finally if all else fails, you can contact Vocational Rehab and they will pay for your education TOTALLY!
