Make Paula Deen's Symphony brownies.
They are super easy and incredible...make them tonight and let them cool until morning. Cutting brownies with a plastic "picnic" knife is easiest and they don't tear up as much.
*****
1 box brownie mix with walnuts
3 6oz Symphony candy bars with almonds and toffee chips
*****
Mix the brownie mix according to box directions. (I use the cake like brownie instructions) Line a 13 x 9 pan with tinfoil and spray with cooking spray.
Pour 1/2 the brownie mix in the dish. It is not much. Place the 3 candy bars (wraps removed of course) side by side on top of the mix. Don't break or chop up the candy bars. Pour the remainder of the brownie mix over the top.
Bake according to mix directions.
Let cool and lift the tinfoil out of pan.

Anything with a good scent, if your customers smell the cookies, brownies, muffins and what-not, they'll be more willing to give in for a treat. And if you think it's feasible, maybe provide lighter/healthier options for those who are skeptical about bake items. And since it's the morning, you could serve coffe and or tea to go with the sweets.
It's somewhat an american tradition.

All of the above are great ideas. How about rice krispies -- easy & tasty! Cupcakes are great b/c they are wrapped in their own paper cups so they are not as messy. If you want to make a nutritious cupcake, try carrot cupcakes with lowfat cream cheese frosting! Or try a really easy & delicious Hidden Mint Cookie recipe from The Food Network's Paula Deen. Have fun!

Depends on where you are having the bake sale. Some people like to buy something they can eat right now, so I would make cup cakes and individually wrap them.

Well cookies (molasses cookies are the best) are always good, cake, brownies. Banana nut bread sounds really good though, maybe just make tons of that.

Chocolate Crackles are always a winner...
Small cupcakes with bright icing are always good...
It's a bake sale, but what about toffees? They always sell and are pretty simple to make.

Muffins and cup cakes are PERFECT for bake sales, and cookies the second biggest hit.
