the best diet is the one you can stay on. there are lots of diets, but basically you should eat balanced meals with correct portions, get 30 minutes of exercise every day, and drink 64 ounces of no calorie liquids, mostly water.

I've been doing a low carb diet for 2.5 weeks and I have lost 10.5 lbs. I've found that it is much easier than I thought it would be and you can easily adjust your diet to drop the carbs.
