Do people treat you better when you have nice hair?

I have very curly hair, but I find it very disturbing when I get treated better when my hair is straight. Is there some sort of discrimination for curly hair girls? Hmmmm Do guys like girls with straight hair better?

my hair is naturally curly 2.and yes some ppl i kno do seem to treat girl w/ straight blonde hair nicer.but we r different than the followers who straighten their hair EVERY morning.be different.embrace ur pretty hair!every1 tells me that i look better w/ straight but i don't care!i beleive that God gave me this hair to use it to its greatest!not to follow the crowd!take my advice!and no matter wat anybody says Keep it curly!it is beutiful!

I think its sad, because I used to straighten my hair alot, but I have decided the damage is not worth it. I also noticed that more people said they liked my hair when it was straight, far more people then thouse who commented on my naturally curly hair. I think this is sad, and just like people above me have said, its because society some how has identified women with straight blonde hair as the model, and every one else should look like that and thouse who dont, are just weird. I used to follow society, but I decided I like to be different, and I hope you make the same decision. CURLY HAIR ROCKS!!!

You might be experiencing peoples reactions of thinking you are ethnic. I know it sounds crazy but people really identify with hair as a form of worth. Some, and before anyone jumps down my throat i'm saying some white people might immediately think you are part of another ethnic group which is ok. And ethnic people might be jelous and think you are snobby and too good because you have a different grade of hair alot of them want.

yes!!!! i get so friggin mad that every time i have a nice hairstyle everyone seems to treat me special and i guess i do look petty with a good hairstyle but so what. everytime i straighten it its like people ways change. this is why i am so ashame of my natural hair!! it make me feel awful and ugly. i cannot even be my natural self with curly hair. i know it sounds dumb and all but i get so friggin piss of

My hair is natural very curly. You just gotta love wat you have and i do beleive there is someone for everyone and youll find the guy that loves ur hair. I always get compliments for my hair cuz it is different and both types of hair are pretty. You just have to pick the one for you and rock it!

My best feature is my hair. I have long thick straight hair and people still treat me like crap so i don't think it has anything to do with your hair.

i dont think they judge ppl by hair even nice hair is a nice thing to look at i dont think guys would judge girls on it thye would probaly more judge them on there body or something or there face overall all guys have different tastes youll find a guy thatwill love your hair ♥♥♥

only if they are shallow and not worth your time, babygirl! do you feel more attractive when you straighten it? loving yourself attracts more love to you, so there could be your answer right there...keep your head up and tell yourself you are beautiful every day, and you'll have to beat the guys off with a big stick!
