My boyfriend's parents are moving in the SAME building as us, what should we do? His mom is too clingy and I know she is moving in only so she can be closer to him. Anyone else have the same issue with their S/O parents? She needs to let go, he's 24!!!

try talking to your boyfriend, his mom IS a mom and a mom LOVES her son. i mean come on look at from her point of view, shes losing her son. hes been her son longer then hes been your boyfriend so you just have to deal with that fact. as for moving into the same building as yall, i really dont see the problem. i mean whats wrong with it?? they will probably be on a WHOLE OTHER FLOOR!!! but you have to remember that he's been her son ALOT longer then he's been your boyfriend.

I'd be thrilled if my husbands family or my family lived closer.

If you dont want them around as much, your boyfriend needs to put his foot down. You are just the girlfriend, you have no say in the matter.

Good luck!

hi im married to a 25 year old who is still very attached to his
mommy she lives a block away from me and they keep in
contact a lot by phone but he loves his mom being near by
does your bf like his mom around, i think that if you really love
him you are going to have to like your mo -in law too!

I think why she is moving in is not because she wants to be closer to him, is that she wants to watch you and what you two are doing and to be all in your business,to see whats going on

Watch Monster-in-Law...you'll relate. :)
No jk. Try to convince your bf to talk to his parents so they could move somewhere else. Is your bf attatched to them as well? Does he notice what is happening?
