Great colorist in NYC?

Hi - I am looking to add caramel highlights to my dark brown (almost black) hair. I've never dyed my hair before and I really don't want my hair to turn a brassy or orange color. So - can anyone recommend a good salon & colorist in NYC, please? Thank you!
