I mean, are there actual things? Do we live in a world? When people say that it will be paradise, what exactly will it be? What will we do? I know, live in the glory of God and Jesus, but does the glory of God and Jesus mean a state of being in everything you do, or is it WHAT you do? What is this paradise like?

well they say that heaven is the reward of the saved. Almost all professing Christians believe the saved go to heaven upon death.
But God will eventually come to earth to dwell with His people. Revelation 2:7 explains that this tree is now in “paradise.” Recall that the thief hoped to join Christ in paradise. At the end of God’s Plan, paradise will be on the earth! God reveals His marvelous purpose to us at the very end of the New Testament. It speaks of the Tree of Life coming to earth. Meaning, we will not go to heaven bot a place prepared for us.

“‘When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory…. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.’ Yes, the Kingdom of God is the place prepared. Jesus said He went to prepare a place for us. He also said He went to get for Himself a kingdom, and to return. And when He returns, as King of kings, and that Kingdom is established (we find it is the place prepared), then it is that the joyful call goes out, ‘Come! ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you.’”

The idea that heaven is a world is nonsensical because then it would be this world, not any others, even if it was a planet in another galaxy it would still be in time and space. If heaven was life but in a different body, what body? Would you really consider an animal as having a better life than a human? One can imagine the possible enjoyment of an animal but on a survival level this is an absurd notion, not to mention you would have given up your intelligence, and if it was a higher being than human, what? An angel isn't real, so this doesn't count. The fact is there are no such beings that are higher than humans, from what we know, so either heaven is another human body, which would basically mean life all over again, same form, same manner, or something different entirely, meaning it can not have a physical body. If it were agony, like hell, then what would be the subject to the pain? If there is no body, how can there be pain? If it is a place of pleasure, heaven, again, what would be the subject of this pleasure? No body equals no pleasure. So if all that's left is the notion of a glory, to which if you ask, for who, the answer is simply, for us.

So logically that realm is a place with no body but some type of glory. It doesn't make sense, and this makes sense because there is no body. We wouldn't have to do anything, again, no body, and finally we would still have glory but nothing to attribute it to. Basically it sounds retarded. But then again, we are still "there" so if there is any type of enjoyment from heaven, it will be revealed by us knowing ourselves and nothing else, because at that point it would only be ourselves and nothing us.

Well, the Bible does give a few hints about what life after death will be like, both heaven and hell. However, no one knows for sure because our understanding of such things is limited. The Catholic Church teaches that Heaven is a state of union with God while hell is a state of eternal separation from God. Much of the Biblical language, particularly Revelation is poetic and symbolic and shouldn't be taken as a literal description of heaven as a place. Below is a link to the paragraph in the Catechism of the Catholic Church that talks a little bit about heaven.

According to Isaiah 65:21,22, it states we will build houses and inhabit them, plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them. Does that sound like a real place to you? it is very real as Heaven will be on this Earth when the end comes and all has been accomplished according to what God has said would be. The first thousand years after Jesus comes back to get His people will be spent in Heaven where Jesus is now and after that the whole city that has been made just for us will descend to this Earth, the wicked will be burned up and all will be made new and this will be the center of God's government. As the bible says and Jesus said it, the meek will inherit the Earth. For a lot more info on it check out the site below and do the lessons and you will learn a lot more of what it will be like. it is all in the bible.

Heaven is where ever God is. He is going to have His kingdom here on earth. He is going to renew the earth. Scripture says that no eye has ever scene nor any brain could imagine such a beautiful place God has in store for those who believe upon Christ and makes it into His kingdom. He has created a beautiful earth already. The newly refurbished earth should really be spectacular. This is about a good an answer as your likely to get.

Heaven is place according to the Bible and Koran. It really exists. It is a place for the people who did good throughout their life. It is a place of good food, rivers, gardens. The people over there are always happy. There is no dirt, or bad things over there. The path to Heaven is not easy. But it is worth the effort.

well i believe that heaven is not physically a place. we cant compare it to anything on earth because it is not like anything we have ever experienced before. i believe it is a 'place' with G-d where your soul is freed of all of the hardships, worries and bad things. its free...it is also said that when u die that your soul repents(doesnt hurt or anything. u just feel bad for it) for every(no matter how little) wrong thing that u did while you were alive. you then go to heaven. depending on how evil u were u get a difernet sized area of heaven entitled to u...hitler went to hell, where his souls stopped existing altogether...anyways...ur probably bored of listening to me drone on about my beliefs...

Everyone of them will have two wives; the marrow of the bones of the wives' legs will be seen through the flesh out of excessive beauty.
