I tried saline but that stuff didn't work at all? Basically i have no idea what it is, the only time i get relief is when i take a hot shower/then walk into the room and for a few seconds i can breathe normally.

I've never done drugs or anything like that, i dont drink, etc etc so thats not it. I just dont understand whats up. I was on accutane for a year, and before it i never had this problem? But talking to doctors they said that wouldnt do it?

Anyways if i grab my upper lip and kinda make it expand then my nose opens up and it doesn't feel sticky/etc for a few seconds, then it just goes back to normal. anyhow it's really a horrible feeling so any advice would help tons

thanks

I have pretty much the same thing. It's dry air and or the air ducts
in your house need cleaning causing dry dusty air.. I wake in the
morning, stuffed up, blow my nose and it's always bloody. Ask r Mom about the air ducts and see if you can find an Vapourizer 4
your bed room, the stem coming out of it will help u breathe much
easier, or a nasal inhaler. My air ducts r being cleaned, sanitized,
and deodorized Monday. For now put some Vick's all around r
nostrils at bedtime it'll help for now
Hang in there,
Summer

Breathing difficulties are terrible. I have had allergies & asthma all my life. At one time the doctors had me on 6 different medications that eventually made me even sicker. My advice would be to try to keep the meds to a minimum. Benedryl is a gentle otc remedy for these symptoms that most people can take. Check your surroundings. Is there any mold or dust that could be aggravating the problem. Stay away from smokers. It may not seem like it is bothering you when your around them but you may pay the consequences with worsened breathing later. Get a humidifier and run it in the room while you sleep, but clean it regularly because they can harbor mold if not cleaned properly. Cold weather can also worsen your symptoms, so try to stay warm. If needed in very cold weather wrap a scarf around your mouth & nose to moisten & warm the air when you have to be outside.
Hope this helps. Good Luck

If you haven't already, try some Breathe Right strips. Be sure to pay attention to the size as it will make a big difference. Good luck!

Depending on where you live, could it be from the cold weather?
