I have this cheap shampoo that you can get at Costco (a big bottle for 7.99 that will last you 3 months even with long hair) it's called Pantene Pro-V Volumizing. My hair is so silky when I do that and it's just so great. People ask me if I did something to my hair, and all I say is: "I just wash my hair and go to sleep...no drying, no blow-drying, no nothing"

I agree:
John Frieda Brilliant Brunette or Sheer Blonde or Radiant Red I think it is called (depending on your colour).
Sunsilk and Aussie are meant to be good shampoos too, but I've never tried them.
Herbal Essences smells really nice and makes your hair quite soft too.
I'm using Timotei Chamomile Highlights at the moment. It's average, but nice and gentle on your hair.

Shampoos do that to mine to, and that is because when you shampoo, the shampoo is taking out all the oils from your hair, and thats why it feels dry! :D
If you don't like that feeling then try Pert + w/ conditioner! I use Garnier Fructis! :D It smells fruity and makes my hair the softest out of all the products I've ever used!

Try using Trader Joe's nourish spa, it's all natural and contains special extracts like rosemary oil, Valencia orange citrus, lemongrass, organic mango, sea kelp, lavender, chamomile flower, and organic grapefruit. It also does not contain laurel/Laure sulfates that most shampoo and conditioners have like, loreal, pantene, garnier nutris, and john fredia products. This is like special food for your hair that will make it stronger and healthier it. Also try to stop using chemicals like gel, mouse and hair color, and don't use straighteners and blow dry's for a while. Well I hope this helped, good luck!

Herbal essances is good and very healthy. You could allways try baby shampoo and conditionar, I used those for a while and allthough they may not smell all fruity and nice, ( they do smell good like fresh natuaral herbs ) they make your hair super soft.
here are the topbrands of shampoo.
1 -
herbal essances
2 -
Neutrogena Anti-Residue
3-
Head & Shoulders ( very cheap )
4 -
Johnson & Johnson
Hope it helped
:D

i know this may sound silly, but i recon Johnson's baby shampoo is the best shampoo to use, because if you think about it, the shampoo hasn't got all the extra useless ingredients that could damage the hair easily. if its safe for babies to use on there hair am sure its safe to use on our hair too. i could be wrong though...
