why not just use the time to relax and bond with your baby. Modern women spend too much time trying to multi-task and often miss out on some wonderful experiences

Well usually I'm answering questions on here! My son is sleeping at the breast right now, in fact. I also talk to my mom on the phone or make other phone calls that are virtually impossible to do while my two children under three are climbing all over me. Of course, I usually don't make the phone call until after my son is already asleep at the breast. In the beginning with each child, I used to wear them in the sling so I could do whatever I needed to do -- eat, clean, even go to the bathroom! Breastfeeding has never really slowed me down!

OMG!! I have done it all! Laundry, help with older kids homework, made costumes for school plays. With my first child I just sat and fed, cooed into his little eyes and let him wrap his little finger around mine and all was right with the world! With the my youngest of three I am ashamed to say that I have even bought groceries (discreetly) while breastfeeding. I have even made lunch!

Reading, telephone, getting my oldest cereal and helping her pick out clothes for school. I find it hard to multi-task breastfeeding, but I am improving.

I don't do much. I just sit there and talk and sing. Sometimes I will read. However with this baby, I will use the time to talk to my daughter and spend time with her and pet the dog. But just sitting down stuff. I don't think I'll strap on a sling and run around

Just rest and enjoy the moment... or watch tv :)

I tried to breastfeed my oldest but I had breast issues (my nipples bled) but I was able to with my 2nd son, I had to because he was allergic to formula. I bottle fed the 3rd because even though with the second it was better, no bleeding, it was painful about half of the time

My 5 month previous does an analogous appropriate ingredient. I consistently have scratches and little scabs on my breasts. on account that your daughter is 14 months she could initiate or already understand the meaning of No. in simple terms gently grab her hand and say no no that provides mommy owies. With my new child I in simple terms began to hold his hand once I feed him.

Well when I was breastfeeding my daughter i had a sling that she laid in while she ate and i did anything i need to do. Like washing the dishes doing laundery and using the internet. It worked like a charm.

Enjoy the time with your baby, they are only infants for a little while. It is a bond that you will cherish when they grow up. Touching your child as they nurse, lullabyes, read a story to them. This is their time. Enjoy honey. God bless and put angels on your pillows. good luck

I read the paper or book (out loud so my baby can hear), check my email, talk on the phone, fold laundry, watch TV, sing to my baby...to name a few things.
