I recently posted a completely ficticious story about peeing on a golf course (on the 18th green). I have thus far received 35 answers/comments in response to my "question".
I was just wondering why these people/losers get so angry about something that, first of all: Did not even happen, and second of all: didn't affect them in the least. It just makes me laugh to see how angry these people get...does anyone know why they get so mad? ...just trying to get some laughs...

Because you presented it as though it did happen, so we've established that you're a liar.
and second of all: didn't affect them in the least.
When something is wrong with society, it effects everyone, whether it's urinating in public or receiving enjoyment from lying to others.
It just makes me laugh to see how angry these people get...does anyone know why they get so mad? ...just trying to get some laughs...
Well, how perfectly selfish that you (alone) were able to enjoy this charade.

I share of your need for humor, and will not deny you that.
However, you should realize that the behavior you depicted in your fictional situation is not at all unusual. I don't know where you live, but should you find yourself in any given large metropolitan area, you'll find such acts all too common. Drunken bums (those who are moneyed and otherwise) act foolishly, and it doesn't stop at the gates of a golf course, private or otherwise...and I'm sure more than a few people have had their time on a green or fairway ruined by those bums.
I did not take offense to your joke, and I did not resort to "name calling," as others did. I did advise you to "lawyer up."

People have the right to express their feelings about something that angers or pleases them. Just the same as you have to right to put questions on here. Also it is put in type. It has no voice tone or inflection and no one can tell if someone is being serious, sarcastic or joking. If you had put something made up about religion or gender or politics would you not expect any response? Sometimes the responses are valid and sometimes people are just being anal.

I really did not get angry I simply stated if you were in my group I would have smacked you with my Scotty Cameron putter , for having no etiquette and disrespect for the game , now I see you made it all up , well it just lowers my opinion of you , you probably make up scores when playing golf too , it would not surprise me .

i once played with some guy who had about 8 beers in the round, he was peeing every hole, and he peed right in the 18th fairway. Me and my friend thought it was funny.
