Well what you need is a small food scale so that you can weigh your food before eatting it. SOme are really cheap but get a good one if you are going to use it alot.

If you buy packaged cheese (or any food, for that matter), the Nutrition Facts panel on the package tells you exactly what the serving size is, usually how many ounces or how many grams.

Once I have that info, I use a small Food Weighing Scale to measure the serving size by weight.

You can buy the scale online or at any store, I bought it at Walmart for seven bucks. It is a great help in measuring serving sizes if you are serious about that.

For serving sizes of other foods, I always perform an internet search. Another good source for calories info is AnneCollins dot com.

Hope this helps.

When food is labeled, it gives information per serving size. At the top of the info it says the amount of servings in the product.

You can do it visually, and ounce pice of cheese is like the string cheese sticks you can buy, or a slightly thicker slice of american cheese. The palm of your hand is equievlant to 3 ounce piece of meat. thumb is approx a tablespoon of dressing or sauce. fist is how big a normal orange or apple is, and no bigger. Hope this helps.
