My dad is so unfair...he doesnt want to do anything! Like today im like you wana watch boxing, and hes like nah...and its always like that. My dad doesnt like to do anything and its not like I love spending time with him, but some times would be nice. What can I do?

I'm sure he doesn't know that you feel as though you two don't spend enough time together. Talk to him, ask him if you 2 can set aside a day each week or month even were you two do something together. Like go golfing every Sunday morning, or out to breakfast every other saturday, or every weekend watch your fav, basball team play. There are countless things to sugessest, but im sure if you tell him how you feel he will make the effort to spend time with you. If you dont feel comfortable enough talking to him about it talk to your mom, im sure she will remedy the situation.
if you cant find common ground on somthing to do, go out to eat, or offer to help him with a project around the house.

Hi, well is there anything that you know of that he enjoys to do. There has got to be something that you can do with him. If there is nothing that he likes that you know of maybe say to him, hey dad I was wondering if you and I could just do something together, anything that you would like dad because I would really like to spend some time with you and dad I'm not asking for alot of your time and not even all the time but just some of your time would be great!
Sorry I couldn't help you more, but the most important thing for you to do is talk to your dad and let him know how you feel so that he realizes how it effects you.

Tell your dad, that life is short, and that you would like to spend some time with him. So do some fun things, go miniature golfing, bowling. go cart racing. movies, and to a nice restaurant. Go and visit some of your dad's relatives together, that is a good way to find out about the family, or have a pot luck, so the family can get together. Tell your dad, I just want to get to know your better!

does he have any intrests? try to do sometning he likes... if he doesnt like anything, sounds like hes not real happy with his life, maybe hes depressed about something.. try to think of stuff the 2 of you can do, like maybe a home project that isnt hard or expensive, help him wash and detail the family car, start cleaning the garage REALLY good.listen when he complains about things and see if theres something you can help change..maybe hes having the midlife blues thing,anycase, try talking to him....good luck

Hey Dad, remember me??? I am the one that you took the time with Mom to make. Now if you won't go fishing with me Sunday,,I am going to leave your big lazy a** here and go find me a big brother Dad that will take me places and do things with me. Tell him honestly that you want to spend time with him and that his refusal is hurting your relationship. If that doesn't work then tell him that his refusal to do anything with you is going to send you straight to drugs and unless he wants a druggie on his hands he better gets his lard *** up and do something to show his son he loves him.

What does your dad like to do? If nothing else....tell him that you want a better relationship with him and that you'd like to do something fun with him like TV, or going out...

Try to find something he likes to do maybe then he will come out of the coma he is in..What about your mom do you ask her to do things with you?

my favorite father son past time is fishing.. try it out.. we arent exactly the closest but fishing is how we spend time together... we talk about whatever.. sports, health..

just come out and ask him what he likes and taht you would like to dothings with him--does he like sports ? go to a game together--watch tv together--go out to lunch together--important thing though is find out what he likes and do it with him\
