I'm going to a party tonight, and don't wanna get too too drunk, but don't want to be the guy standing in the corner feeling out of place. I weigh 130 lb., and only get drunk about 3 or 4 times a year.

As a Bar Manager, I see a lot of drunk people. Just keep in mind that your liver only filters roughly 1 alcoholic bev per hour. If you drinking shots, beer, or wine, doesn't matter. 1 per hour. it's how much you consume in an hours time that factors into your drunken stooper. All Champagne will do is give you a headache due to dehydration, But, if you have 3 glasses an hour for 3 hours at 130lbs you will definitley be the drunk guy in the corner.Just keep that in the back of your head while at the party and try to have a good time!

Champagne has a very little amount of alcohol in it. It depends on tolerance, but I think you could drink about 2 or 3 glasses and still be pretty good. You won't get drunk with a few glasses.

I'd say you'd be OK with two glasses, spaced a while apart. Maybe three, but for your body size and admitted lightweight, no more than that. And watch how the glasses are poured, a proper glass of champagne isn't full to the top. Take care!

As a rule of thumb, if you are lying on the floor and the room is spinning like a tilt a whirl and you have a sick feeling, like nausea, then only have a few more drinks, at most.

If it's fine champagne, you will be able to handle more of it than cheap stuff. Keep it to a liter and you'll be fine.
