you are not too bright. and yes you have a broken hand!
congrats... if you cant move fingers you probably have broken the bones in the palm of your hand (meditarsals). you need to go to the doctors because he might have to RE brake it for you...
to set it ( get the bones realigned) so you can use it for the rest of your life. I wouldnt wait! go asap it will hurt if you wait if you go now and take care of it ,its not that bad pain wise.
dont let it heal itself the swelling might be masking somekind of mutant disfiguremnet!

I think you broke it. Are the tip of your fingers still pink? Can you move them, just with pain? Even a sprain would swell, but I think it is broken, because swelling, bruising & inability to move it. Yes, I'd go to the ER. They may have to realign your finger/hand. Most hospitals will allow you to make $10-$20 monthly payments, even $5.00. I'd go.
If you don't, you could loose a finger, or they will heal in wrong alignment, then they'll have to be re-broken later on to realign them.

Why would anyone punch a brick wall? You have more than a broken hand. You need to get your hand seen by a doctor ASAP, and then you need to do some soul searching. Good luck to you.

if you can't move your fingers there's a good chance you've done some extensive damage to your hand. You should go to the doctor sooner rather then later. if your hand is broken and you let the bones heal out of place they'll have to re-break your hand to fix it.

If your hand is swelled and it's painful and you can't move it then you should hurry up and go the emergency. so you can get some X-rays done. what's more important than your hand.

I can't tell, but maybe you could tell. you could tell, by having pain in your hand for more than a week....if so, then you should probably get it checked out by a doctor or something, or else the pain could worsen.
