Same thing goes with trusting scientists with issues of cancer, building skyskrapers, etc., but it seems the origins of life is something they just can't get right while Billy Bob from Jackson Missouri with his High School diploma can disprove.

Grad Student: You may want to hit those books a little bit harder because evolution does NOT concern itself with how the first life arose or making life.

They are not the deepest thinkers on the planet....say...any body see anna nicole smith being driven to the airport ? Wasn't that live, local, latebreaking newshot from the helicopter neat....boy!!
And who's on american idol next week? Who's Walter Reed? Rex Reed's dad? And why did they name a hospital after Rex Reed's dad? Deep thinking indeed........

right, that's why the "DNA" "Think Tank", is located on Long Island, in "Cold Spring Harbor", NY. What do those lazy Americans do there ? drink coffee ? The top DNA scientist's in the world are there ! Maybe "Billy Bob" works there too but, I doubt you can get a job there without winning the "Nobel Prize" ! The world contact's "Cold Spring Harbor" labs for all DNA information.

I really think that a large majority of Americans believe at least in the large part, the scientific theory on the origins of life. Even here in Kansas we have finally cleared it to be taught in schools.

Speaking from a strictly scientific point of view, probably because scientists have never succeeded at creating life in laboratory experiments. Physically (not metaphysically) it's hard to prove something as true if you can't provide proof.
Dude, who said anything about evolution? You mentioned the origins of life. I just said that it hasn't been done by scientific experimentation, and we tend not to believe things that can't,or haven't been done. I'm not hatin' on anyone.

There are tons of science books that are obsolete. Why, you may ask? What is and was science fact is disproved when more information becomes available. The problem is people will take the evidence and shape it into their own world view.

Life hasn't been created in a test tube as far as I know but how many times it has been created on Earth can't be proved or not proved.

They have "faith." And sky god. And a book written by desert nomads high on life...
Everyone else just has a college education with tons of scientific data to back up what they learned...

I found a really good website that talks about how in the bible things were talked about before scienctist even discovered them. Take a look at it and explain how that is possible. The bible and science does go together.
