Creationist declaration of belief, from the Institute for Creation Research:

"All things in the universe were created by God in the six days of special creation described in Gen. 1:1-2:3. The creation account is accepted as factual, historical, and perspicuous, and is thus foundational to the understanding of every fact and phenomenon in the created universe. Theories of origins and development which involve "evolution" in any form are thus recognized as false and sterile intellectually. "

The whole thing is completely ignorant. They say it's a science, but I'd like you to find a science anywhere today where ANYTHING is accepted as "factual" with no sufficient evidence, or that discredits whole lines of evidence by calling it "false and stelile intellectually" with no conflicting evidence to back up the claim.

No REAL scientist would ever say an unproven idea should be "foundational to the understanding of every fact and phenomenon in the universe." FIRST you get the data, THEN you come up with the conclusion. Coming up with the conclusion before analyzing the data goes against all logical reason.

I wouldn't be suprised if they have a whole branch of Christian Chemists attempting to turn water into wine.

Well, in a nutshell, yeah, kinda! For Christians, scientific domains are always right so long as they can be reconciled with the Bible and the 6000 year theory. These same scientific domains are always incorrect when they contradict, or for some reason can't be reconciled with the Bible. It's amazing logic, huh?

The funny thing, is that the bible itself can be used to strongly dispute the 6000 yr idea.....

BUt I prefer the physical evidence we have that proves positivily and factually that if Noahs flood did happen that it was at least 12000 years ago.

More than that. The difference is that they come to a conclusion and then look for facts to support it.

Where in real science we find the facts and then draw a conclusion.

Why do you ask? Since when is the Holy Bible to be questioned by the finite foolishness of false science? Hmmmm?

Christian Science has nothing to do with practical science.

No, they are the ones who believe the illness is a sign that you are separated from God. They believe that illness should be healed by prayer and faith rather than by doctors and medical care.
