Just a hypothetical question

lol, I assure you, it's purely hypothetical (as of now). I haven't been pulled over...yet...but I tend to speed a lot, and I may get pulled over one day when I'm least expecting it.

Not directly.

However, you better keep a vigilence on the mail, as the ticket will be sent to your home address.

Good luck!

If it's a ticket where you're required to show up in court for, they must appear with you. They'll find out whether it's the court who notifies them, or they see your notice in the mail, or when your insurance sky rockets, or if you have to ask them for money to pay the ticket or traffic school.

Just so you know where to find the correct answer: mickeysco is completely correct. Your parents will not be notified directly, but you will have to have a parent with you when you appear before the juvenile traffic commissioner, so they will find out eventually.

no, your parents wont be notified about the ticket. but hey dont ever do an accident and keep quiet about it. insurance companies always call the parents and tell them everything. happened with the son of my dad's collegue!

I doubt that a Police Department is going to call your home Unless you have been found driving Illegally or Killed in an Accident or found sick somewhere

I'm assuming you're on their insurance policy. They will find out soon enough. But unless you're arrested, parents aren't notified when you get a ticket.
