Yes - apply lots of rubbing alcohol to a cotton ball and hold in place for about 30-40 minutes. Use very little pressure, just enough so that it stay in place. If you can afford CoQ10 Toner by Avalon Organics, use that instead of rubbing alcohol. It also works very well.

In general, you have to attack acne where it starts, with your diet. For me, diet was the cause and solution. Topical medications fight the symptoms. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. Once you start cleaning up the inside of your body, by eating properly, the outside of your body (your skin) will be get cleaned up too. I started a website to document my problem and solution.

You might find it helpful to read my story. Just remember to eat an all natural/organic diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from processed foods. Use mild, all natural cleansers and don't pick at your face. Get lots of sleep and enough water for your body weight. Remember, clean body = clean skin. While you're waiting for your skin to clear, remind yourself that acne is a challenge that you will overcome soon. Once you're rid of it, tell all your friends how you did it. That's what I'm doing. God Bless.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

Well when hair is greasy and oily (which most guys hair is) dandruff is most likely present. When dandruff falls onto the skin it form pimples, which is probably what you are experiencing. A really good thing to do would be avoiding having your hair on your face and that's also why people with long hair get pimples on their back too. Ugh i know! The SOLUTION however is calamine lotion. Before going to bed, wash your face thoroughly with Nivea Visage Ocean Gel, it's a blue gel in a clear plastic bottle. Then pat your face dry, not rub! Then shake the calamine lotion and using your pinky dab it on the affected areas. It dries out the pimples, eventually making it dissapear. To make sure it doesn't scar, use a good moisturiser that won't make your skin oily in the morning. Hope it's not too girly but ey which girl wouldn't like your clear skin??

toothpaste overnight is a good one! Also last resort before you go to the dance put an ice cube on it to take away the redness & carefully cover (remembering to blend) with some concealer. Also it always looks worse to you than to everyone else! Have a great time

Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream is fantastic, put it on before bed and when you wake up your spot will be dried up and all the red will be gone, when i was too poor to buy it i used toothpaste which does a similar job.
Have fun at your school dance!

First of all, don't pop the pimple!! Usually there are a few lotions that help prevent pimples from forming. But considering the fact that you have one day, I'm sorry, I can't help you.

Rubbing Alcohol...be sure the pimple is not opened when you apply the alcohol or else it might scrab over and that definately wouldnt be good! also, it may dry your skin out a bit so be sure you have a good moisturizer to apply before your makeup. apply the rubbing alcohol to a clean face..it works the best that way.

That's not going to happen. Just a warm rag tonight......it should make a "head" tomorrow morning and pop it. Tomorrow night.....you may have to use some type of make up to cover it.
