Surly they have to take me to court so i can offer some payment via a ccj ( Red, blue letter) before they could make me bankcrut?

They will file bankruptcy if you dont pay??? How much do you owe? I would call them and talk to them and see if a settlement can be reached outside of court otherwise YOU will have to pay for all lawyers and court costs!

Depending on how much you owe, they CAN petition the court for a forced bankruptcy. NO ONE will take that route before suing you for a 'normal' judgment. 90%+ of all THREATS made by collection agencies are LIES designed to scare you into making a payment. The best advice when they claim they will sue is to tell them to do so. If they actually do, you are no worse of than before. Most likely, they won't.

No they can,t do that to you there trying to scare you into paying what you owe them I wish you good luck
