You have the symptoms of a disease called "acid reflux". This can be brought under control by prescribed medication called Previcid or omeprazole. Each with 20 mg.Go see your Dr. and tell him your symptoms & ask about these medications. They worked wonders for me as I had the exact symptoms you described.

Sounds like acid reflux. It's a problem with the spincter that is between the esophagus and the stomach. It get loose and allows stomach contents to back up into the esophogus (which is acid) and that causes the burning feeling in the chest. You need to see a doc about it as after time, it can actually damage the esophogus. Meanwhile, if you elevate the head of your bed, that will help protect it from back log during the night (when you may not even know it's happening). This could be more than a simple anacid can take care of.

heart burn, or more exactly, acid reflux. That's a bummer. I mean, its not a serious or acute medical condition, but its no fun. Long term however, acid reflux can scar you esophagus.

Talk to a doctor about it - acid reflux needs to be controlled or avoided, and medication can help.

You might also be able to change the way you run so that you move more smoothly...I'd bet that would help, but its still best to talk to a doc about it.

Maybe you aren't waiting long enough for digestion. Different foods digest at diferent paces. Or you possibly could have acid reflux or gastrol intestinal reflux disease. (GERD) I have suffered from that for years. sort of a deep pain in middle of chest that feels like if you could only burp it would feel better. It wasn't til I started taking Prilosec, that I felt so much better.

It's heart burn, and it's miserable, I know, I have it also. Try an ant-acid or an acid reducer.
