i sorta like this guy and he likes me. last night on im he asked me if i wanted to go out with him, but i've never been on a date and i dont want it to be akward. help??!!

I have never been on any date, but somehow got a girlfriend and I did nothing. But just be yourself. It's not hard unless your the "odd" type (not that you are). Just relax. Don't get to fancy unless it is a fancy place. Relax, take it easy, be yourself, and be cool(smooth, nice, sweet. Not cool cool). If you remember that, your on your way to a long relationship unless he's not your type or something like that. Good Luck and Have Fun!

I am in the same spot but im in 9th grade. He is a total sweet heart and when he asked me I said yes! it sorta just slipped. I have been his girlfriend for 2 1/2 days now. It is akward because I still don't know if I like him enough to have said yes. EVERYONE I ask says give it like a week. They say the first week is the most akward. I suggest you say yes and go on a group date but just stay around him the whole time, it will help break the ice if your friends are there.

Just tell him you need to think about it, that gives you a little time to think about what you want to do, but at the same time your not saying no or yes.
