I would like the pattern to show staves, notes and musical symbols. I have tried Ebay and all sorts of searches on the web, but no luck. None of the major bedding suppliers have such a design.

I would like the pattern to show musical notes, staves, symbols, etc. The source needs to be available to the UK. I have tried all the major high street stores and bedding manufacturers. Unfortunately I do not have time to design my own. Thanks to everyone who has responded so far.

Find some plain material you like and take it to a seamstress who does embroidering. You can draw a pattern you like and the machine copies it and embroiders it on the material. You can do that for your bedding and curtians. Lampshades would be easy. Either use fabric paint, a cloth marker or cut out shapes and glue them on.

If you are or know someone who is handy with sewing you could try a fabric store. I found some very specific hard to find fabric and my ex-mom-in-law made my daughter the "cowgirl and horse" room of her dreams.
You can hot glue gun the fabric around a shade so it matches.
