I have a 1200 watt hifonics brutus amp. It hits the speakers nice. But if since I wanted to seriously make my speakers hit hard i bought an extra battery to power the speakers. I got four 12 inch CVR's and they hit hard with one amp. It also depends on how much power your speakers can take. Too much power will blow your speakers.

hifonics is a step down from those makers that you listed but they do have good specs for the price it also depends on the setup that you have. you will need a 1 ohm load to get the 1200 watts.

hifonics could just as easily be considered and is by alot of audiophiles as a leader in amplifier technology. The price is a step down but not the engineering.

watts are watts i say. as long as the amp is the good price and has the features you want then go for it
