Whats heavier, a pound of feathers or a pound of bricks?

i swear everyone i asked so far got it wrong, maybe people on Y!A are smarter

haha at first i thought it was a pound of bricks but then i thought about it and its the same weight cause there both a pound

If they are gold bricks they are troy weight, less than a pound.
So a pound of feathers is heavier.
However, you stand on the pavement, I'll go up on the roof and drop a pound of feathers on your head and then a pound of bricks. Then tell me which FEELS heavier!!!

I heard that one before I asked my dad and he said a pound of feathers. I think the really answer is they are the same because they are both a pound!
