Isn't that an interesting question...it would have been better I guess for each of us to have a different set of rules and a different God and....no wait a second. That is an easy answer.
Perhaps...as Romans tells us...we all serve a purpose under God...all are part of the whole. And maybe the Bible...as us bad skeptical Christians claim...is about symbolism and representation and therefore is deliberatly obscure.
Some who choose to believe on faith and spend time in Bible study will concur that there is a strange phenomena that occurs when a word, or verse, or answer, or understanding suddenly appears or comes to us even though we have read the same part many times.
One more thing...maybe God did not make it obscure..maybe we do.

The Bible must be reasoned out and explained. It is not for private interpretation! It doesn't take an expert to reason it out!! The Bible is designed so that if two scriptures don't make sense, there is always a third to bring them together! Some say that believing is all there is to it, some say that you have to accept Him as your Savior, etc. You have probably heard them all. Let me shed a little light on the subject. The only place in the New Testament that talks about getting into the Kingdom of God (heaven) is in St. John 3:5. Jesus Christ (the Savior of mankind) says that we must be Born Again of the water and the Spirit. St Peter gave that message on the first day of the first Church which is the Day of Pentecost. Acts 2:38 says to repent, be baptized (by immersion because that's how it is designed to work) in the name of Jesus Christ to have your sins washed away, and you will receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost. We know when we recieve the gift when we experience it the same way that the First Church did. Acts 2:4, 10:45-46, 19:6. Also read St. Mark 16:16-17. All of the Apostles were there when Peter gave the message so what they tell us in their Gospels isn't contrary to what Peter was saying, just confirming. On the first day, there were 3,000 pilgrims that were saved. These then went back to their respective home cities, made new converts, got together on Sunday mornings for prayer and worship. These are the groups that formed the the first Churchs. The Apostles wrote letters to these Churchs and sometimes traveled to meet them. The Book of Acts was written to get you saved. And the Epistles were written to keep you saved!! A good belief is that when two disagree, Look in the Bible and find out what God says aboyt it. We can't argue with Him!! Never take what a man says as Gospel until you can check it out in the Bible. I hope that you will check out what I just told you!!

THIS IS MY OPINION---
His word is confusing because the languages through which we communicate are imperfect. I belief that there is a perfect language, through which all would be clear, but it is not on the earth today. As a result of the lack of a perfect language, several things in the Bible can be ambiguous. There are lots of potentially confusing pitfalls from using the Bible. Joseph Smith re-translated some of these to make more sense (see JST).
From this answer, you could reasonably question why we do not have a perfect language on the Earth. I really do not know the answer. I would hypothesize, however, that it would be directly related to our own imperfection and lack of preparedness and mental ??? to be able to use a perfect language. (don't know the right word here... see my point about an imperfect language? maybe capacity or ability would fit best, but I'm sure that in a perfect language their would be a better word.)
I hope you honestly regard my answer and don't turn it away just because I disagree with you. Too many people on Y!A post "questions" just to rant about how people are wrong. I hope you are willing to read this as an honest answer to your actual question.

The Bible isn't that confusing except that related topics are spread throughout the Bible.
Religions disagree because they either don't accept what they read, or they add to it.
For instance, in the Bible homosexuality is forbidden, yet some churches say its acceptable, even though the Bible is quite clear that is isn't acceptable.
Also, the Bible says Alcohol is okay drink such Jesus drinking wine on passover, but different groups say it's a sin.
The Catholics teach in purgatory. That isn't in the Bible.
Saturday is the Sabbath in the Bible. Catholics long ago change the rest day to the Lord's day (Sunday). Yet, many protestants try to claim the new testament church kept Sunday, which is dishonest.
If you want to please God, follow the Bible, not others additions, omissions, or changes. God allows us to make our own choices. Must choose not to follow the Holy Scriptures completely but their own way.

He doesn't make it confusing. There is no such thing as the bible. God sent Moses with a message and it was called the Torah, He sent Jesus a message and it was called the Injil, He sent Mohammed a message and it was the Qu'ran. [ May Allah (Almighty God) bring peace and blessings upon all the prophets]
Do some research, Islams does not believe in the Old Testament and some of the New Testament.
We believe in the original message that God sent to Moses and Jesus.
There is only one Almighty God and He is Everliving!
It is not a joke, Mankind twisted and changed the original texts to suit their own interest and desires. Gods word is perfect and it makes sense. Do some research and see what you come up with.
You came up with a good question, May Allah Guide You Amin.

It is the infallible word of God, but it also warns us of preachers that tickle our ears by teaching that which makes us feel good about our faith.
Many of the denominations teach salvation by works, or by grace and works, while others teach by grace alone.
The scriptures are certain that it is by grace alone.
The scriptures are also certain that those who are saved by grace will do good works.
Some believe the time of Jacobs trouble happened in 70 AD, while other denominations believe that it will happen yet in the future.
Some believe the church will be raptured up at the beginning of the tribulation, others the middle of the tribulation, and still some believe we are a yo-yo and we will rapture up into the clouds, so that we can come back with Jesus the same day we went up.
It takes much study to work all these things out, many theologians have expressed their beliefs and then later modified as they have studied more. The word is infallible, but man is fallible. God is infinite, while man is finite.

It's not God who made it confusing, it is man. Think of it this way: you tell a person something. They go tell a person, then another and another and another....and on and on untill, let's say 100 people heard from another what you orginally said, do you think it is going to be word for word what you told the first person? Good chances of no.
I believe Adam and Eve were taught by God the gospel. Through centuries the true gospel doctrine became corrupted and many important doctrine's lost because one guy didn't like this or one guy wanted it a certain way because he thought it was better. Can you see how it would branch out?
I am Mormon and believe the true gospel was restored to the earth in its fulness through the prophet Joseph Smith. I believe Joseph saw and spoke with God the Father and Jesus Christ, that they instructed him on organizing the true church and restoring the gospel and priesthood.
I believe that because I have asked in prayer and have received many answers as to the truthfulness of the gospel.
You too can have that knowledge, as well as anyone who is willing to seek it.

first of all it's not as hard as some people think the word is hidden for a select people those whom are born again or wanting to be in a relationship with God son's and daughters of God other than that it may look infallible and difficult to those whom are not follows that's why Jesus looked the way he did to the high officials in the past we they hung him on the cross remember the cross and how they did not believe the words of God so they nailed him and made fun of him even before that time.

We must remember that GOD did not write the Holy Books; man
did using his own interpretation. Also different groups added or
deleted information and whole chapters(books) according to personal belief. It is because so many people had different interpretations that there are now so many various religions.
Religions are belief systems........they are not spirituality which is open to and accepting of each one of us having our own experience with the Divine Source as we feel it within.

could I advise which you study the Bible, there is actual little doubt approximately our lord god there. God is all-efficient and is no longer seen with the help of mankind. God's angels have been seen as His representatives in His dealings with mankind in the two the previous and New testomony. for this reason God despatched His son, the Lord Jesus Christ, so as that he ought to show human beings approximately his Father's plan and purpose for the earth.
