I bought a car for $2500. 00 for my daughter so that she could attend the U of W and that was 3 years ago and she is done the U of W in April 07 and the car is still running . Just look around you don't have to spend that kind money on a teenager let them earn the money and get what they want . How are they going to learn .

I dont think there is an average teenager in this respect. I know somebody who was in the millitary and spent 3k on a car in his senior year. I also know people who payed less then 1k and a girl who's parents bought her a brand new car off the lot. If your looking to buy a car buy one that's in good condition and affordible to you, don't forget to take insurance into account.
If your looking to sell your car sell it for what it's worth, somebody will buy it reguardless if they're a student or not if the asking price is fair.

Depends on how much you make or wait how much mommy and daddy makes. Since I had to work and save for my first car and insurance I bought a little $500.00 Toyota Camry. I dont know about the rest of the world but my daddy wouldnt buy me a Mercedes because he wanted to teach me the value of money and working hard.
