I know what its like when you're apart. My bf and I had a Long Distance relationship for the first 2 years we were going out. We would only see each other about 4 times a year. I know its tempting to lock yourself in your room and feel sorry for yourself but the only person thats going to be affected is you.
Don't pressure him to stay because its his family and you can't make him choose between them or you.
You'll just have to find something to do for those 6 weeks like i did. Find a job or take up a new hobby. Anything to keep your mind off your boyfriend. Thats the only way i coped for the months on end not seeing my bf. Just try not to think about him.
Take care and best of luck!

Oh, come on! You may not be able to afford the flight to China, but surely you can afford a holiday? you can get great stuff on the internet so cheaply.
What a waste to sit in your room; don't put your life on hold because your b/f has gone away; you MUST start to develop your own interests, for your own sake. It's not healthy to relay on one person so much for our happiness.
think about how much you will have to talk about when he comes back; and if it were me, I would use the opportunity to catch up with all my girlfriends and have some girly nights out.

Are you ok? Why don't you go with him. Quit feeling sorry for yourself and go get a job. You can do it! There is still time to earn the money for the flight.

I'd suggest getting a busy job, like waitressing, that way your productive, make alot of money and are more focused on other things besides your boyfriend.
