I presume by "true believers" you are speaking of some form of religion. In Australia, the "true believers" are the old-time members of the Australian Labor Party who survived the groupers and the split in the 1950s. By extension the term is used for all dedicated supporters of the ALP. They certainly have thick skins and many of them are atheists.

Research has found that people secure in their belief or non-belief fare the best. People who are insecure, fare the worst. Of all of the test subjects, Christians and Muslims who are insecure are by far, the worst off. Not only do they have a hard time dealing with life's bumps, they fear Hell too.

"athiests" or "Brights" for certain. People who aren't reliant on religion to base their existence on are much more resilient and open to ideas than the "true" believer who has had religious dogma shoved down their throats since birth.

"Someone who is so weak does not deserve life. Let life be only for those who love it."

yeah, why don't we kill off everybody who is weak enough to have a support beam. when a theist is sad and prays, eh doesn't deserve to live, he's scum. when an atheist takes comfort in a friend instead, kill the weak little coward, he's not worth keeping around. lets kill off everybody in society who isn't completely able to deal with their problems with zero outside help.

you are one scary person.

Of course the majority of Atheists. I've been through years of childhood abuse, years of stage V nodul-cystic scarring acne over 80% of my face, clinical depression, my resolve has never been stronger. Just to accept the truth of what we know now takes strength.

Who builds his house on a rock, a firm foundation.

If tomorrow atheists had proof of what believers are saying, they would change.

If tomorrow CNN had announced proof that believers were wrong, I would still have faith.

God Bless

A true believer can never lose faith for they have a solid foundation in the Word, but an atheist will believe anything if the argument is convincing enough for they have no solid foundation. Thus the reason some atheists believe in aliens, mediums, and the like.

"Believers" have to look to some invisible man in the sky to know how to behave and just to get through life. Isn't the answer self-evident?

Someone who is so weak does not deserve life. Let life be only for those who love it. Let those who long for better things after death die and chase their pipedreams.

Religious people are tougher because they focus on their beliefs and it is very hard to break their will.
