I have not told anyone about what I have been feeling lately.
When I went to the grocery store, I felt that everyone was staring at me. Then I felt a fear to go to the cash register, because it was going to take too long. I felt that I would look stupid standing there.
When I went to pay and use my card, my hands were sweaty and shaking. I felt that my face was going to melt from extreme heat. My worst fear was that someone would take notice.

This started about a week ago. I did take some exenadrine xrp, and this has been happening to me ever since. I also feel that I cant talk to people at work any more because they will notice my legs and hands shaking.

Definitly you have social anxiety/phobia. It is very common problem, you are not the only one although it might seem that it can only happen to you.
Social anxiety is an experience of fear, apprehension or worry regarding social situations and being evaluated by others. People vary in how often they experience anxiety in this way or in which kinds of situations. Anxiety about public speaking, performance, or interviews is common. Social anxiety can be related to shyness. The experience is commonly described as having physiological components (e.g. sweating, blushing), cognitive/perceptual components (e.g. belief that one may be judged negatively; looking for signs of disapproval) and behavioral components (e.g. avoiding a situation).

Social anxiety disorder, sometimes called social phobia, isn't the same as shyness or stage fright. In fact, it's perfectly reasonable to be anxious in some situations.

What sets social anxiety disorder apart from everyday nervousness is the severity and persistence of its signs and symptoms. Social anxiety disorder can have both emotional and physical signs and symptoms.

Emotional signs and symptoms of social anxiety disorder include:

Intense fear of situations in which you don't know people
Fear of situations in which you may be judged
Anxiety about being embarrassed or humiliated
Fear that others will notice you showing physical signs of anxiety
Anxiety that disrupts your daily routine, work, school or other activities
Physical signs and symptoms of social anxiety disorder include:

Blushing
Profuse sweating
Trembling
Nausea
Stomach upset
Difficulty talking
Muscle tension
Confusion
Palpitations
Diarrhea

My fiance has social anxiety so i know a lot about it. The most important thing with it is to get help, and stay in conntact with social situations because if you don't fear can grow so much that you will have problems even getting out of your home.

Here is one site that could help you a lot to see that you are not the only one and find out more about SA.

Most likely the suppliment your taking is causing an anxiety reaction. The sweaty shakiness your described is a classic panic attack (also an anxiety condition). The grocery store is also a classic example of social anxiety.

Stimulants are well know to cause anxiety. I'm not a doctor but I would stop taking the Exanadrine and see how you feel in a week. If your still having issues see a doctor. I used to have severe anxiety and without treatment it can get very very bad.

This sounds like a classic panic attack or as it's also known 'anxiety attack'. As you mentioned that it has only just started happening since taking new medication, I would report this to your doctor because it sounds as though this medication is not agreeing with you. If it's just a side effect of the medication then you have nothing to fear as it will go away once you stop taking it. Make an appointment right away!

Sounds like you have some paranoia; caused by what? I cannot tell could be drug usage or an old supressed memory beginning to resurface, maybe even something recent that happened has cause it. You should see a doctor and a psychiatrist.

It sounds as if you had a panic attack. It could have been induced by what you had taken. Have you stopped taking the exenadrine to see if this stops? If not, then stop the exendarine to see if this helps.

Try reading the bible. Pray. Ask God in the name of Jesus to help you get through this. Ask for his forgiving grace.
If not the above, . . . Seek the advice of a doctor.

Contact your doctor right away. It could be a side affect or a panic attack.
