Excercise more, even if it is just walking for an extra 15 minutes a day.
Throw out all the junk food so you can't snack on it on weekends. Replace it with fruit or carrots or celery, because you are still going to want to munch. Just make it a non-junk food munch.
The two variables YOU have total CONTROL over are "calories in" and "calories out". If you are having trouble controling one, then work on the other.

its ok to snack when you get hungry but its what you snack on and exercise that makes the difference.

if you have the urge to snack, obviously stay away from the junk, grab an apple, a bowl of grapes, anything like that. what i like to do when i want something to chew on is i get a cup full of crushed ice, and eat it. its amazing how it works. i love it.
