which quote is better & if u pick one tell how can the other 1 be as good at the 1 u picked

1st quote - Im not going to let you controll me.Don't tell me how to act or what I should do.You have your own life to controll and you shouldn't be messing around with mine because im not going to listen.I do what I please and its going to stay that way.

2nd quote - I'm not going to pretend to be something I'm not. If you want to judge me, look down on me, slate me, complain about me and laugh behind your hands, feel free. To be quite honest, your only making yourself look bad. If joking people is your talent go to the circus.Frankly,I don't care.

The first quote is healthy and assertive. The second quote suggests that someone has allowed someone else to affect how he feels about himself. The second quote is an emotionally defensive floundering. It seems to be a response to someone's behavior related to disparaging people (putting people down, maliciously reducing them, diminishing them, belittling them) . I would fix it this way. I would say in response to someone who was disparaging me, " A good rule of thumb is that when someone talks bad about others when he is with you, he talks bad about you when he is with others. I tell your friends and my friends that I will promise not believe half of the things that you say about THEM, if they promise not to believe half of the things that you say about ME." (Works everytime.)

I like the second better but something shorter and catchier would be better

The only one I can think of right now is

Be who you are and say what you feel. because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind

edit to the first
What are you a control freak. I aint' all up in your business.
Don't mess with mine I like it the way it is messed up or not it is MINE!

edit second
I yam whatz I am and I don't give two hoots about your opinion.
Who are you anyway! I don't see your rose garden

Or did you want politer versions?

I think probably the 2 quote is quite more interesting then the 1 one. In the 1 quote, a picture about the emotional expression was mostly indicated that you are always perfect and right based on this "I do what I please" tasrih(statement). No idea for your actual purpose.

I like the second one. I am a bit worried you are putting so much effort into this arguement though, because that shows how much you DO care! Sometimes ignoring people is the most infuriating thing you can do!

The second it much better, the first is in too modern and casual language usage, the second is in more formal and precise. It shows the speaker to be much more intelligent and perceptive than the first one.

I like the second one, because it's more about what you're going to do, rather than telling the other person what to do.

silence is the best punishment because then the other person doesnt know what to use in return to your argument but i would go with the second one
