You marry to a citizen and file the petition for Adjustment of Status in the US.
You will probably get your green card interview a year after you file the petition.
Then, you will get your temporary card which will be expired in two years.
During the 90 days before your green card expires, you need to file the petition for removing your conditional status, then you will recieve your real green card which is valid only for 10 years.
5 years after you become a green card holder, you are qualified to take the exam for becoming the US citizen.
So, it will be about 8 years to be qualified to take the exam for your citizenship.

Marriage will get you green card. After that it is a 5 year wait to apply for citizenship. It takes about 2-3 years to final oath ceremony.
