Sure, spend however many grand on a mugleston "pig bull" (they do call it a farm LOL). Those dogs are MUTTS. They are not what a true American Pit Bull Terrier is. They have mastiff bred into them to make them so abnormally large (the wrinkles are a good hint to that). Those poor dogs are so deformed that it's surprising they don't just collapse after a walk down the driveway. Pit bulls are meant to be ATHLETES. Not fat hippos that will have major shoulder and hip problems by the time they are 4.
But, hey, if you just have to have a blue status symbol and have 3,500 to waste then go for it. And theres the plus side of supporting a puppy mill pumping out deformed dogs and ruining one of the best breeds out there. Otherwise, take some time to discover what a real pit bull is. not to put down the kennel or anything, but I dont believe that their dogs are purebred american pit bull terriers. Their dogs weigh between 80 and 110 lbs. That is way oversized for a pit bull. A Purebred male pit bull should weigh between 45 and 60 lbs. Female 35 to 50. In order to get those big huge dogs, they have to mix them with something else.
this would be the normal size for a APBT. yes she is purebred 11 months old... http://www.game-dog.com/gallery/files/7/Lilbit-05-05-06.1jpg.jpg

i dont necessarily think they will be mean, but i think you would be better off getting a game bred pit bull. I wouldnt buy from any of those kennels that say big block head short etc. though... hope this helped =)

Do a Google search for Bully Breeds, they have a ton of info and links to other sites. I would be leery of breeders, they often breed dogs too close to the bloodline. They end up with all kinds of issues from health to disposition problems.Look into adopting from a rescue, they have so many good, gorgeous dogs that need a home. We have a wonderful Pittie from a rescue, best disposition. Also, having that type of breed requires you to be a over responsible owner. Many cities and states have laws about owning and sometimes get extra homeowners insurance. Be smart and know what you're getting into.

I think some are good some are bad. The problem seems to be that some are unpredictible. It has something to do with the way they are raised I think. But I also think the genes play a big role in how they turn out. My dog is supposed to be 1/2 pitbull and he is the biggist woose there ever was. Wouldn't bite anyone if they were killing him or his owner. I think the Lab took over his personnality. Over all I guess they should be banned along with Rottwiellers. Both very unpredictable.

All dogs can be made aggressive.. its all in how its trained.. Pit bulls just tend to gather more media attention then the rest :(

Its that price tag that would make me say no...

why would anyone pay that for a pitbull?you better have alot more money than that when the dog bites someone.you know they are going to be mean because he keeps them chained up.if you want a dog for protection get a mastiff.they also eat pitbulls for breakfast.

Pit bulls are great, as long as they are properly cooked.
