Just feel strange about the terrible smell in public places...?

Recently, I ran into a terrible smell three times at public places in toronto city: one was in a super market, another inside a bank, today was inside a free public newspaper box when I opened the box to take one newspaper. The smell was terrible and immediately caused me the vomit feeling. The feeling last quite sometimes. The first time caused me the vomit feeling a few days. Today, I immediately thraw the newspaper back into the box yet still caused me the vomit feeling about an hour. I wonder if this is normal or it is me......

Was it the exact same smell or is it that odors are becoming more noticable to you. Are you a female...could pregnancy be possible?
