I am 42 yrs old and sick of this winter weather, so I am thinking about a place to go on vacation next year in about late January. I want it to be warm, next to the ocean. I am planning ahead because I cannot just leave for 2 weeks with no planning. I plan to either go with my 20 yr old daughter or maybe by myself. Where can I plan to go?

A friend of mine went to the Bahamas 15 years ago and LOVED it. He went by himself and made friends with a few guys and girls as soon as he got there. I think he stayed on Grand Bahamas Island, and if I'm not mistaken the hotel was named something like Paradise Cove. It's worth thinking about, anyway. Good luck in deciding- there are a lot of nice places out there! ;)

Me, I want to go to Alaska but something tells me that's not what you want. i recommend Cancun, Mexico.
