I want a system that let's people know I'm right around the corner, (i.e. heavily knocking). But I'm a girl and I don't know much about stereo systems, so can anyone tell me everything I will need, also if they know where I can get it at. Oh and just so you know my truck is a Chevy Blazer 2001. Thanks!

Ok , I'm not going togo into what I have, cause its irrelavant. But if you want a bangin system, first with the type of vehicle you have, stay away from anything over 12". Because you have a "hatchback" type vehice, getting something over 12" will completely kill the sound quality, great boom, but no one will care cause they can not make out the words or anything else but bass. Now another thing s be prepared to spend at least $2500, if you are installing it yourself. Girl, this is a very expensive hobby, trust me, i know. But if you want something good you need to spend some dough. Stay away from the walmart specials and best buy. Great prices, but quality, not so good. JL, rockford, or memphis are great companies. personally i am not going to go into what i have (spent well over 4G's for it and hae pix to prove), but you cant be stingy. aight, 1 sub, 1 compnent system (highs and mids-never upgrade just bass, i hate that, sounds terrible), 2 amps (one for sub and one for componenet system), and one sare battery is all u need. Now try to stay with one of the 3 companies i mentioned, buy the amp that goes with the sub you want, best soundif you do not mix and match makers, not to mention less chances of you damaging the equipment cause you got an amp that was too powerful or did not have enough power for the system. And head unit, do not go for looks, go for power and features. The biggest question is, what do you want out of your system and what are you willing to spend on it. Cause baby girl, im hear to tell you, to play wit the big boys, 1, 2 even 3G's aint gon cut it. Im in the military, so u know im not rich, lol. But i wanted the best so i saved, and now i hae what i have today:gettin closer to my own car club-aight, ne question, hit me up, 1

If you want a bangin system, you better be willing to spend over a thousand. Unless you can get a deal from someone. Plus, for future references you should get an alarm with a paging system because a lot of people like to steal sounds or be low key.

I have two kicker comp 12" dvc( duel voice coil) in a ported box with about 500watts running to them and it makes my ear drums itch It all depends on if you want punch or more range low to so low you can;t hearit still feel it just not hear it ported for more range but you need more juic to make them move sealed boxes for more punch but less wattage to get that punch

1. CD player head unit
2. Sub(s) of your choice
3. an amp to match your sub
4. enclosure to put your sub(s) in
5. an amp kit

since your an SUV i would go with a ported enclosure(enclosure with a slot in it) or a bandpass box(one with plexiglass in front of it) alpine, jl audio, rockford fosgate, infinity, and pioneer would be the brands that i would stick with

i wouldnt go to a place like bestbuy or circuit city to buy your stuff(except for maybe your CD player) go to a local car audio shop
