When we were small children,we were taught about personal and environmental hygiene in our classes.why is that we do come across people who are prolific nose diggers in public? why do we find litter strewn at wanton will by our fellow human beings? can anyone provide reasons as to why this happens?want to know as to why individuals do not care for community hygiene when this is the clue for keeping the communicable diseases away.will also appreciate if somebody will enlighten me as to how to inculcate the sense of hygiene in the community be it village or city.feel sad when i read about a cow dying because it had swallowed plastic covers from the roadside.feel sad when i see the youngsters of my city also being callous about this issue and not caring for their surroundings as they are the future of this country.will appreciate answers so that i can be more successful in awakening my fellow countrymen towards keeping our buses, cities and buildings clean.plz do take my query seriously.

I can remember when I was about 15 years old. Although I needed to shave daily, I seldom did. One day a good friend of mine who I admired and looked up to, casually said, not to me but to the group in general, that he really admired people who were clean shaven. Although he wasn't talking directly to me, there was no doubt in my mind that he meant me. So from that day onward, I have always taken time to check my grooming. I have used this same technique on my own children and it works wonders whereas any amount of nagging probably wouldn't. Give it a try!

I think cleanliness is very important and especially in public places because we all go to our houses and sit and watch TV on a sofa or chair when my children and come home we take off our street clothes because sometimes while on public transportation there are mentally challenged person whom ride also and they are not clean they have pissed on them selves have not washed them selves plus have the same clothes on for months at a time now i don't see all the time but they do and that is a hygiene issue and i had some plans in the future for such things as this but however when it comes to the area i live in or just any other area these people have so many other problem especially the teens their not thinking about the outside they need learn how to keep there inside clean yeah i know people Say's cleanliness is next to Godliness but personally some people are more finicky than others in that are i hope this is not to much of a disappoint to you because I remember a statement Jesus said why wash the out side of the cup and the platter but within they are full of extortion and excess wash the cup within first.

Several reasons, I suppose. One, children are barely educated at all. In high schools throughout America, the best "educated" students are the ones that played football. At least they are taught SOMETHING. How is it possible that a high school student from Texas would not be able to find Texas on a map? I live in Poland now and I constantly hear stories of Poles going to America and getting questions like: Poland? Is that in Africa?

Two, just look at our leadership. When our own president can't spell, define or pronounce "environment," then why should anybody else care. In Germany there is a very strong Green Party which has changed a lot of laws for the better. In America the Green Party was blamed for George W. Bush's victory and damned by the very party that should be (but isn't) upholding many of the Greens' views, the Democrats.

In general, people do not learn nor care about life skills anymore. Very few people care at all about manners. Have you noticed how many educated people eat and talk with their mouths open these days? And if you say anything they look at you as if you were the rude one! (And I bet this comment of mine draws more than a few jeers.)

Look even at hand-writing! A silly example, I admit. And I am as guilty as anybody else when it comes to ugly hand-writing. But I myself am an artist and I have ugly, though clear, hand-writing. When I want, I can do some really nice calligraphy, I have to say! Several years ago, however, I found some old post cards from my grandfather who was a construction worker, and I was instantly struck by the beauty of his writing. I have to admit that I would be hard-pressed to match it! And these were simple holiday post cards in which very little care was taken. After this experience I noticed that most people from those days wrote beautifully, while people nowadays rarely do. It was simply another one of the life skills which people now regard as useless and laughable.

I wish I knew why, but people seem to care very little about lots of things like manners, their appearance (apart from the ones that take it WAY too seriously) the world around them, even their reputations. I suppose that with rising technology our brains are allowed to sleep, and sleep they do!

Lack of cleanliness is mainly due to either idleness or ignorance. Idleness deeply roots because of parental carelessness in bringing up and surroundings. Ignorance is a cause of no teachings of why & why not. First of all teaching parents by exhibition at every place in all societies must be carried out, so that cleanliness of surroundings and subtle impressions on the minds of children’s longings and actions is laid by parents. By carrying out this master suggestion you can be succeed in placing the new generation next to godliness. Don’t forget me.

solid for you, i'm certain you're happy with your self for making the alternative to purchase yet another homestead, and relaxing each and each of the criteria you felt become mandatory. You need to be elated and walk round with a large smile on your face. playstation i'm very happy with you too. You knew the homestead wasn't accurate for you so that you made a call to discover something better quite of merely feeling undesirable about it. It took concentration and a great deal of patience to get the position you're today.

This question is probbly better placed in the Environment section under Science. Most American kids can barely read coming out of high school, if they have spent twelve years learning so little, why would we think that they have learned to throw trash away.

Jesus ate with unwashed hands, and said it is what is in your heart / course of action that counts

Jesus' true ministry was to teach love and respect not only to other humans, but animals, plants, grass, trees

The law is to show respect and good toward others and things.
( things being trees, plants, earth ) for we are all one with the earth.. God used the earth to make man

It is not so difficult .... even a cat washes his or her paws .... even a dog likes to be clean ... it is the nature of human beings also to like to be clean ...

....to stay clean requires water .... and that is the real project ..... to keep the trees growing, the fields planted, the gardens and lawns beautiful, and to always pray to God to take care of us all ....

Peace & Love
