Yes, in some cases. I dated a 17 year old guy when I was 14 and we remain very close friends (I am married now to a different, but more wonderful guy ;-)). He never pressured me into sex or anything like that, and was very respectful. That being said... in most states as soon as he turns 18, it will likely be illegal for them to do anything sexual. Of course, dating relationships shouldn't have to be sexual. If he is a good guy, and she is a mature girl, there shouldn't be a problem, but the parents should be okay with it on both sides.

As a mother of an eigtheen year old mother ( married too) no the age is not right and that is from first hand eyesight on that age relationship. Her first serious boyfriend was 17 and she was 14..... he expected more and so she gave him more and still he betrayed her............she then met another guy she was 16 he almost 18...... the age and mind differences are so much more to do with expectations....I love my grandson but know if she has concentrated on her exams and schoolwork as half as much as she did of her boyfriend at time then she would've stayed at school and been in a better state than she is now..............that is the most honest answer I can give

I think the fact your asking this means you have qualms. You'll either be told you're a pedophile or a hero. Ignore it. Do YOU think it's wrong? Does she? Do either of your parents? Does your state's law? These are important. The views of a bunch of opinionated assholes (and I am one, and proud) is not. If that's what you want though-It won't seem so O.K. when her father breaks your legs, or Give me both ur numbers lol (actually, do ;))

it really depends on the maturity of the boy and how much trust u can have in the relationship. the reason why most see have an older bf is because older guys tend to believe that they can control them especially at a young age. so it really depends on the girl and her control and the amount of maturity but i have allways liked older men so... i wouldnt see a large problem.

Ummmmmm....at that age, that is a big gap. I am 23 and am dating a 26 year old guy but at my age the gap is smaller. I would be VERY careful and take it VERY slowly
