Most likely he will be reprimanded. That would be a traitor like action. He must be listening to the Liberals, and has been braindirtied, by them.

I didn't see that, but maybe he just wants to come home...every Warrior wants to come home...once the mission is fulfilled

How far can we go on this.
1. Parents push thier children in doing everything quick and good. They have them doing all sorts of activities.
2. Now the children are in the adult world and things are not that fast and the reward system is not what they expect to be like when they were in school.
3. Politicians want a quick fix. No fix pull out. Just like Viet Nam
and some other countries.
4. The American people are dissatisfied with the results now and are being feed bull---- from the politicians.
The Americans are not backing up the war.
If the French, Dutch and some others gave up on the American cause in 1775 like we did in Viet Nam, Smolia and other countries, what type of flag would we be saluting today.
We had a wonderfull generation fighting World War II they had endurance, fighting spirit. Today we do not have this as a whole Nation. The Politicians that want us to quit are undermining Freedom and it's cause (possible they are not making money on it.) It's time we change out the old guard in politics.
The Marine may get a casual remark from his leaders, but he spoke a truth about the American cause. All it takes is a few good men and women to sit around and watch evil grow.
The evil will not knock on the back door but will come goose stepping the front while everyone tries to be political correct and not hurt their feelings and Sept 11 is my brithday, less we not forget for History repeats itself. Wake up America

He is being honest and thinking for himself. He won't get into trouble if he wasn't in uniform or on the job. When a military person isn't on the job, they can have opinions just like the rest of free America.

If he said it in uniform, he may be in trouble. When a soldier is on the job, they do their duty and aren't entitled to opinions that they can act upon. Sign that paper at the recruitment office, and you lose your right to complain or protest. That's what the job pays you for...shut up and do what you're told. Military and the educational system are Not a democracies.

When not in uniform or on the job, he can say and do as any other citizen.

It was on CNN because that network is subversive and staffed with treasonous leftists. Most likely a phony pretending to be a Marine.

The marine was expressing a personal view. It is one shared by most of the military personnel.

Yes, he can get into trouble. Free speech does not apply to military personnel. ( I am retired military).

The truth of our efforts in Iraq is that Bush is attempting to force a method of government onto the Iraqi people that they neither want nor understand.

THE SOLDIERS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WAR ZONE HAVE A
BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT SHAPE THE WAR
IS IN THEN AMYONE ELSE DOES.
NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE TOLD AND WHAT YOU SEE
ON TV, ONLY THE SOLDIERS KNOW THE REAL STORY.
THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO EXPRESS THEIR OWN PERSONAL
OPINION OF WHAT THEY BELIEVE. ISNT THAT WHAT
THEY ARE OVER THERE FIGHTING FOR? FREEDOM!
