I really wanted to tell him in person, and I told him to stop nagging me about it cos I said I needed to meet up with him so we could talk, but he kept pushing me cos we couldn't actually get together for another week, so he kept texting me saying to just tell him cos the wait would drive him crazy, so i did as nice as i could, but now i feel like such a cow. Am I a real ***** for that?

I think you should have waited a quiet moment and give him a proper phone call at least, but don't judge yourself too harshly ,you'd been caught in the pressure of him nagging you. As kind as we can try to be ,at some point we always hurt some people's feelings ,such is life...

Yes, although he kept nagging you about telling him you should have told him that it was too important to tell over the phone and that it should be done in person. And if he can't understand that then he isn't right for you anyway. But since you've already did it move on! Just next time do what ever it takes to talk to them in person.

yes that it a horrible thing to do!!

i have never been dumped by text before but last week my friend had been.
It left her devestated that he couldnt just face her with it, its embaressing and very degrading for the dumby.

if you were able to share intimate experinces with each other then doesnt the other person deserve the respect to be told to their face.

You can still make it up with him so that you dont seem like the evil person in this....just phone him and ask to meet up and speak about the situation and why you cant be with him no more. (But do this in person not over the phone)

That way he wont feel so bad about him self and you wont feel gilty
......just do the right thing.

no. because u were going to tell him in person but since he kept on nagging u and stuff u just decided to tell him. that is perfectly fine don't feel bad. i know its hard dumping up period but ull be fine . now if u were just going to dump him by text just because u didn't feel like telling him in person or something like that . now that would be a pretty mean thing to do but ur reason isnt a bad one.
i hope i helped. i hope u start feeling a little better about this situation.

Oh no no NO! Your karma just dropped like a million points. That is super harsh and now it will happen to you one day too! (or something just as nasty). Have some respect for the poor guy okay? That's all it takes to break up nicely, respect for the other person and what you had together, oh you are mean, learn from this one okay, and don't do it again.

Yes you were. Honestly, no one can make you do something you dont want to do. You could have just ditched the conversation but trust me, we know these things. Probably the way you said things hinted your intentions and got him actions. Saying things like: We Need To Talk, hardly ever have a good ending. It could mean a few things.......you are pregnant, you are dumping him/her, you are sick,
I hate the we need to talk, although ive used it myself in all 3 examples from above.

Fix it, find him and dump him in his face.

It would have been more decent, more dignified if you would have told him in person.
Just because you don't want to be in a relation with him anymore, doesnt mean you should be so crue.
Even now, if ever in future he meets you & talks to you, explain to him that you were disturbed so that was the best way you could think of to end the relation.
Anyway, best of luck to you.

No...that's what he deserved for being impatient. If was wiling to listen through text then he needed to be ready for whatever you could have said. Don't feel bad. Feel good that he knows the truth!

If he kept pushing and pushing to the point of annoying, then no, you told him to wait and he didnt. You shouldnt feel bad at all.
