I just adopted a 4 month old puppy. She's part basset hound, part pitbull...But she just looks like a basset hound, with out the floppy ears. She's black and white. and her feet are spotted. Please help me come up with a name. Her name from the Shelter is Stormy..i'm not crazy about this name

I had a female bassett when I was young. Her name was Doupie (pronounced with the ooooo sound), it was a name mix between Droopy and Dopey. After she was playing with a rock and SWALLOWED it... and we had a BIG vet bill... We changed the pronunciation to Dopey!! Hehehe!!! Always a LOVE though!!!
She was so adorable. As a pup she would trip on her ears!
And when she drank from her waterbowl, her ears would fall in and get all wet!
Hahaha!!!
Don't you just LOVE the way the BARK???
