Jesus was recorded by those that died rather than deny the Scriptures-torchered to death.

Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life, no one cometh unto heaven but by men. John 14 vs 6

raised Jewish I believed the prophecies Isaiah 52:13-53:12 pointing to only Jesus-He will be exalted but first marred more than any man. He will be despised and rejected, and lay down his life to make atonement for our sins.

what belief besides Jesus gets your sins taken away and friendship with God? Why is Jesus rejected what did he do so bad???

some deny it but never asked -forgive my sins, come into my heart and help me, be my friend, amen.

revelation 3:19&20 Messiah Jesus promised he would do this

This is true that Jesus brings free salvation.

Jesus did nothing bad, however he has a enemy and so do we, and the is the Devil.

But Praise God that Jesus won the victory.

It's not that Jesus did anything bad, it's that He said things that made the Jews of His time, especially the leaders, upset with Him because they thought He was being blasphemous towards their Scriptures, which ultimately led to their plot to kill Him, thus rejecting what He said about Himself. No belief besides Jesus gets your sins taken away and makes you a friend of God because of the prophecy of Isaiah 52-53, that the goal of His suffering and death was the atonement of sins. Jesus is the only one who has done what that Scripture says, thus He is the only way to salvation. I don't know really of any religion that outrightly claims that they have a "better" way than Christianity, but if there is one, they are just denying what is. They are anti-Christ, basically denying only Christianity. Christianity is the only religion I know of that makes the claim that their belief system is the only way to salvation. This claim by Christians is validated by Jesus' words of John 14 which you have listed above. Basically, the Bible as Christians have it says that Jesus is the only way to true salvation, and anyone who says otherwise is anti-Christ and has much punishment coming upon them on the day of judgment.

Some people simply don't believe that Jesus was the Son of God. Is that so hard for you to understand?

I'm not even sure that Jesus really existed. I certainly don't believe that he's the son of God. In fact, I don't even believe in God.

Even if Jesus offered me free salvation through his sacrifice, I don't think that I could accept it. First, I haven't done anything for which I should be damned. I would be accepting punishment that I did not deserve. Second, I don't believe that it is just for one person to pay the debts of another. Third, I don't owe Jesus anything. I never asked him to do anything for me. Frankly, I wuld think his behavior presumptuous.

I'd rather go to hell with a clear conscience and my dignity intact than go to heaven by submitting to divine blackmail and abandoning my own convictions.

Salvation into eternal life is a free gift from God.

However 99% of Christians delve on the freebies and ignore that Jesus said He will come and.. judge the living and the dead

It is by your works after you are saved whether u have done good or evil..

Jesus said in my house are many mansions, Paul wrote some will build with straw, wood or Gold..

The modern day Christians have the same attitude as the older children who believed in Santa clause.. for they say the hell with the fat man in the red suit just me the goodies...

Now I am asking you candy man....

Lets get to the real Jesus...
WHAT ARE THE LAWS OF ETERNAL JUDGMENT,
THAT JESUS WILL JUDGE US??

Bet u have none... however there is

in my religion there is no sin, therefore no need for it to be forgiven or taken away.

quoting your religious texts as an argument against my religious beliefs is simply silly. first off if i believe in your bible and choose not to follow your god, then what will quoting it to me again change?

and if i do not believe in your bible, then you are wasting your time again by quoting it to me.

it would be much the same as if i told you that my religion was better simply because my religion says so. (which is not the case, i believe that all are equal)

a solid argument for the benefits of one religion over another simply does not exist because when people of different religions are arguing with each other they are both agreeing with somebody that can only see their own way as right. and will only use religious teachings in their argument..

just about as effective as wrestling a pig in the mud.

All the other religions I've read or heard about involve works. You have to be a good person and do good things to get a reward. You do something bad and bad will happen to you. It's completely human centered. Nothing to do with grace or mercy.

Because that way is unreasonable, and very demeaning to humanity as a whole. If I need to crawl for some kind of salvation, it will be because I need to to get somewhere, not because a god needs to feel like a man.

Did you ever consider that people are allowed to have different beliefs than you? Leave all of the other religions alone and let them believe what they want to. No one has to do what you think is right.

Because not everybody believes in Jesus.

Because not everybody believes in the Christian definition of sin.

Because not everybody believes that you can inherit sin from your ancestors.

Because not everybody believes that someone else can die for your sins.

Because not everybody believes that blind faith is the one way to make up for your sins.

And, finally, because not everybody believes that a good and loving god would allows something as barbaric as Hell to exist.

I think the old way...(sacrificing animals to appease God)...was much better.

In fact it worked quite well for over 4000 years. I wonder why God decided to have his only son tortured and murdered?

Buddha brought permanent peace, enlightenment, oneness with God, true happiness, ability to retain thought and NOT get brainwashed...
I'll take that over "salvation" any day.
