First I live in Atlanta this just happen there is this this couple who burned a man alive two years ago well their 3 year old set the house on fire and died in the fire. Secondly do you remember Left Eye of the group TLC well just be for she was killed in a car accident in Mexico she was driving a jeep that killed a Mexican young man and she thought she got away with it because the young man was very poor lastly look at all the people you see on TV that get caught stealing from their church from employ es and when God shines that light on them some of them are so humiliated that they kill them selves so don,t worry if some one does you wrong don,t try to get them back God has it and when he gets them don,t gloat over it because God will stop punishing them

Karma is about "cause and effect"... sowing "seeds" by thought and deed that "ripen" and the result is always larger than the seed sown. If you do something that causes harm and suffering, you've sown a seed that will eventually come back to haunt YOU, nobody else... however there is a concept called "collective karma" or "shared karma" where you share the same karmic results as others who have committed similar acts/deeds or thoughts that got you where you're at... example: being born in a country where there is no freedom of anything, or in a prison encampment... if the person born into that environment actually IS who they appear to be... Bodhisattvas try to take rebirth in any circumstance they can to be of benefit to sentient beings, no matter what karma they have (which is usually pretty nice stuff).

Maybe but it's no use thinking of karma as some sort of revenge. You might never live to see it come around where you would wish. This is the big problem I have with karma - there's no time scale to it. For example, what's the point in someone being dealt out their karma on their death bed after a long and nasty life? Why would they give a bugger then?

Absolutely... it is the only answer to the injustices in the world... the hard truth that people get what they "deserve"... good n bad... but they are both changeable... so if you pass a beggar then you can't just shrug & say "their karma"... because you giving them a 1000 quid to lift them from their suffering could be their karma too... lol... So karma is not an excuse for inaction... but the cause for the inequalities in the world... and yes, karma is ever evolving... and there is not only personal karma but group karma too.. so it is a very complex subject...

Yes! but if you don't forgive the person causing the Bad karma, or bad effects, and you try to get revenge, or in others words you don't forgive, and let what comes around, come around, to the one causing, the effects, or the Karma, of their effects will come own you,And when this happens, is because the gilt overcomes you, and then the revenge kicks,in and you get the effects of something you could not let go of or for- get, Until you learn this you will always get the effects of the causes, And you will never see it come around to the one that caused it, You have to let go, forgive , and that don't mean stay in or around the things, or the ones who torment,And cause bad effects in your Life, you move own, through someone ,and as time goes by you will here or even see the effects of what one causes..God bless you and the USA and Israel and All

In today's world of instant gratification everyone wants to see instantaneous karmic results.

Karma always has consequences. Western use of Karma is always referred to in negative connotations. Karma can be positive and negative. Karma is cumulative. Karma can be compared to potential and kinetic energies which can show results over a period of time.

Just because someone is doing something which is not favorable to me does not make that negative karma. Karmic science (Kinetics and Kinematics) are very complex. Karmic Laws are not different than the laws of physics.

Karma, unlike traditional science, has a latent property that is inherent to every act and person and that inherent latent property is 'intentions' or 'intent'. Good intent or bad intent.

Salvation is dependent on 'intent' of your actions.
A very simple example of karma and intent (it is not always that easy to interpret ):
A man is on death bed, his family has perished. If he dies you gain his wealth. If he is told the truth he cannot survive.
If he asks you about his family from you and if you tell the truth with focus on his money then that truth is laced with negative intent , though it will be a truth, it still will be negative karma.
A lie in this case will save his life, If you tell him his family is OK, although it will be a lie but it will be free from personal/self interest and is blessed with good intent hence it is positive karma.

Yes, you'll remember I was being cloned for a couple of months by a Christian Fundamentalist who hated the fact that a muslim would never intentionally kill their children. So, karma kicked their butt, as well as me reporting it to the FBI for various crimes. So, yeah, I do believe karma sends it back to them. Maybe not immediately, but eventually it catches up with them.

Yes, but when they receive that karma back can be anywhere from instantly to several lives down the road. Just keep the big picture in mind. Every good deed you do will someday empower you, every negative act will eventually come back to you for you to overcome yourself. This means acts of vengence aren't really useful. The person who wronged you will eventually have to deal with the results of his/her actions. Added your own negativity to the equation will only give you something that you have to face someday.

I do think that what goes around comes around. I think it may be more a case of bringing things on yourself than some external force keeping track of what you're doing and how much positive or negative feedback you're due.
