I like this guy, and we've kinda been flirting around, but I'm not sure if he likes me cause he calls me by my last name. Does this mean he only wants to be friends?

No maybe he likes your last name, maybe you need to tell him straight out i like you, i want you whatever it may be. Dont beat around the bush, beat in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont' think just cause he calls you by your last name that means anything in particular. My son and his friends have always used last names for each other. Talk to him, ask him out if you aren't shy. You'll never know if you don't ask.

Maybe he is trying to be extra nice...being formal with you..
Try to call him by his last name as well, and how he responds to it, and take it from that end...
Is he from the same country as you are...If not then you need to re-consider...he could actually be in love with you, and you do not know it..
If you like the guy that much, be honest with him and ask him what you meant to him...or how he regards your relation...
